Extension Lecture on “Paradigm Shift in Geographical Studies” by Prof. A. R. Siddiqui, 29.9.2022

An extension lecture on ‘Paradigm Shift in Geographical Studies’ has been organised by Department of Geography, MLSU, Udaipur on September, 29, 2022. The resource person of the event was Prof. A. R. Siddiqui, Head, Department of Geography, University of Allahabad. At the very outset Prof. Seema Jalan, Head of the Department welcomed the guests and introduced Prof. Siddiqui to the audience. Prof. Siddiqui elaborately explained the development of various ideologies in the evolution of the geography as a discipline. He outlined various milestones in shaping the geography as it is today. The lecture was attended by post-graduate students, scholars and faculty members of the Department. Aditi Rathore, JRF, presented formal vote of thanks to the speaker. All the faculty members presented memento to Prof. Siddiqui as a token of gratitude. The lecture was followed by refreshment for the audience nicely arranged by a team of scholars viz., Aditi Rathore, Anubhav Singh, Garv Sharma and Twinkle Mathur under the guidance of Dr. Urmi Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, MLSU.
