Successful organization of online international seminar on "Conceptual Framework of Blockchain Accounting" by the Department of Accounting and Business Statistics Honorable Vice Chancellor of Mohanlal Sukhadia University Prof. Amrika Singh in her congratulatory message said that in view of the present circumstances, integration of financial accounting with new technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, cloud computing and machine learning is the need of the hour. The chief guest of the inaugural session, Vice Chancellor of Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University, Professor S. S. Sarangdevot told that blockchain technology was born due to lack of clarity and transparency. Shoorveer Singh Bhanawat told that the development of any department depends on three dimensions of education, research and counseling. Many education programs of the department are receiving grants from RUSA. For the last 2 years the department has been awarded by ICAI for research work and research papers of many researchers of the department are being published in journals published by ICAI. The keynote speaker of the technical session, Mr. Benjamin Arunda, a leading blockchain expert from Nairobi Kenya expressed his opinion that the technology is still in its infancy. It is only because of blockchain technology that it is possible to have a secure connection between two remote locations. The speaker of the technical session, Dr. Luz Penando, Director of the Department of Financial Accounting and Control, Barcelona School of Management, Spain, while sharing his knowledge on blockchain technology, said that after the implementation of this technology, the work of accounts is going to be even more important because those who Even companies currently working on digital assets and NFTs do not know how to show them in financial information.
